It's always fun (and a little jolting) to look WAY back in time at old pictures. Here on our website and on Facebook I'll be posting one of these photos from my past every week for the foreseeable future.

One of our viewers Lisa Ornelas Lutton sent this to us and boy does it bring back memories. I was a feature reporter fro WSM-TV (NBC Nashville) from 1972 to 1979. Basically, I traveled all over middle Tennessee reporting on many of the same kinds of things I've been reporting on here in California. This was a newspaper ad highlighting our on-air team from the "Scene at 6 and 10" newscasts. From top, our co-anchors Dan Miller and John Tesh, our consumer reporter Carolyn Lawrence, our sportscaster Paul Eells (who was also the voice of the Vanderbilt Commodores and in later years the Arkansas Razorbacks), our weatherman Bryce Hawkins (who was a real character) and me (I'm not sure what that stuffed tiger in the picture was all about)!

Anyway, this was one of the happiest times of my life and this old ad rekindled a LOT of wonderful memories.
