There's a lot of buzz about the new Disney movie "Winnie the Pooh" -- and for good reason -- it's a true Disney classic and is the result of years of very hard and meticulous work and lots of TLC by the Disney production crew!

And I am very proud to say that I have a role in the movie! It all happened quite out of the blue when the good folks at Disney gave me a call at the office and asked if I'd like to be the voice of one of the characters. Well needless to say, I was not only totally surprised but truly honored to be asked to play a part in this classic Disney film. I ended up spending a day over at Disney Animation in Burbank working in the studio to deliver my lines to their liking and then getting the $5 tour of the facilities. And then recently I was invited to the "premiere" of the movie held on the historic Walt Disney Studio Lot in Burbank. (I must admit I was nervous waiting for my part of the movie wondering how I would sound and if it would be all right).

Now it's just a small role and I think I was paid SAG minimum -- but that's not the point. This whole experience for me is a once-in-a-lifetime thing where I had the opportunity to meet and work with a lot of very professional and very nice people who under normal circumstances I'd never meet, experience the rush of delivering lines in a padded sound studio, attend a movie premiere and, most importantly, "officially" be part of a Disney movie!! It's all very surreal. And trust me, I'll remember it all and be grateful to the folks at Disney forever.

And of course all of this is very much a part of California's Gold... the adventure continues!!!
