The "VISITING" series takes us to the many diverse neighborhoods of Southern California, and introduces us to the people who live there. "VISITING" has captured the spirit of the Southland with episodes ranging from a look at how menudo is made to the celebration surrounding the rededication of Angeles Flight. LA Times critic Howard Rosenberg calls Huell's style, "Intimate,magnificently unslick, utterly charming, and absolutely irresistible." Viewers agree, and VISITING With HUELL HOWSER continues to be one of the most popular programs on KCET - PBS Los Angeles. He wanted to learn more about this wonderful flat bread that you see so often. He visits a Pita Bread factory to learn all about the art of making this ancient food and ends up at a restaurant where he is treated to feast that is all based around Pita Bread. It’s a delicious adventure.

Visiting...With Huell Howser #1609 - BUG FAIRHuell visits the Los Angeles Natural History Museum as it crawls with bugs at the 22nd Annual Bug Fair – North America’s largest. We explore the world of insects and their arthropod relatives. There are live spiders and scorpions, and collections of butterflies and even bats. Over 60 vendors were on hand with books, entomological equipment and supplies, artwork, toys, clothing and more. It’s a creepy crawly day!
Visiting...With Huell Howser #1610 - SILVER LAKE RESERVOIRThe Silver Lake Reservoir has been a beautiful, historic, and important part of the L.A. landscape since it opened back in May of 1906. Tens of thousands of people see it every day. They drive by it, they walk or jog around it, or they gaze out on it from their houses.Over a six month period, Huell got to know the reservoir much more intimately than he’d ever imagined, the L.A. Dept. of Water & Power made a decision to completely drain the 795 million gallons of water in the reservoir because of a build up of bromate.
